Magdalena Eriksson
Magdalena "Magda" Lilly Eriksson (also Ericsson; born 8 September 1993) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Frauen-Bundesliga side Bayern Munich and from 2014 till 2025 for the Sweden national team. Primarily a centre-back, she can also play as a left-back.
At the beginning of her professional career, Eriksson played for the Stockholm clubs Hammarby IF and Djurgårdens IF until she moved to Linköpings FC in 2013, where she won two cup titles and the league title in 2016 during her five years at the club.
In 2017, Eriksson moved to England and signed for Chelsea in the Women's Super League (WSL). There, she established herself as one of the best central defenders in Europe and was named team captain in 2019. With Chelsea, she won five WSL titles, and also reached the final of the UEFA Women's Champions League in the 2020–21 season. In 2020, she was named Swedish Footballer of the Year.
Eriksson, like her fiancée Pernille Harder, is also known for her LGBTQ+ advocacy and LGBTQ+ rights in sport.

Pernille Mosegaard Harder (born 15 November 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a forward for Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Denmark national team. She has won the domestic league with her teams every year for a decade straight, from 2015 to 2025; the first with Linköping, then 4 with VfL Wolfsburg, 3 with Chelsea and 2 with Bayern Munich. In September 2020, Harder became the world's most expensive female footballer following her transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Chelsea, a record she held for two years. She is considered one of the best footballers in the world.
Harder has been nominated thrice for the Ballon d'Or in 2018, 2019, and 2021, placing second with only a 6-point margin at the first ever awarding in 2018 while playing for VfL Wolfsburg. She was awarded the UEFA Women's Player of the Year Award in 2018 and 2020, the first player to win the award twice. English newspaper The Guardian named Harder as the best footballer in the world in 2018 and 2020, with Harder also the first player to twice receive this honour. In 2020 British football magazine Four Four Two named Harder the best footballer in the world.
Harder, like her fiancée Magdalena Eriksson, is also known for her LGBTQ+ advocacy in sport and beyond.
